You should go there with people, better friends, whom you really like. It's almost like being at home in your own reading room. Very tasty cakes and very tasty snacks.

What a cafe!!! Although there are books in every nook and corner, it is unbelievably cosy. Good selection of cakes and vegan dishes (both sweet and savoury). And the prices!! It‘s like you’ve gone back in time 😃 2.40€ for tea, 1.70€ for coffee, aperitifs for 2.xx €! Definitely worth a visit

Small, cozy with inspiration for reading books. Located in the middle of the island, in a half-basement. The interior looks like a mixture of cozy coffee and a bookstore. The price-performance ratio is good and the service is friendly.

A wonderful cafe to which we would like to make a pilgrimage every day during our vacation here on Lake Constance. The girls here are very adorable. Even in this difficult 2020 year, they keep track of things and provide us with great courtesy. Coffee, cakes, quiches, soups, stews Aperol, Hugo, Bodensee wines and juices. We can't leave this cafe without a book. Please stay as you are😁💚👌.

In this case, the Bucharest café, which is located in the center of the room, is connected to the gourmet with the following characteristics: Körper-Seele- und Geist. If necessary, they may not be used as a means of cleaning, but if they are free of atmospheric atmospheres. Every time I walk along the island of Lindau at 33 Fischergasse, this very cozy bookstore and café always feels good. A man’s daughter can have a coffee next to a good book or just have a snack of some of the delicacies, e.g. mouth-watering cookies. I also like that it is so colorfully, homey, really soul-inspiring! I wanted to be a part of this - so to speak holistic whole - where they not only nourish the body, but also entertain the soul and the spirit in a friendly atmosphere thanks to interesting books. Therefore, in the winter of 2020, I applied for one of their job postings with a complete resume, and so on. - but they didn't even answer. I personally took my application papers in a dark blue folder, which I think was just handed to the boss for employees to view. Or not??? Well, I’ve been waiting for an answer ever since, or at least my papers back (by mail), but nothing! This part is very disappointing ... that's why I only gave it 3 stars despite my first positive review. Because I could even write that the space is too tight ... and that if people sit on the street chairs, they have to pull themselves together because the bus goes almost in front of their noses ...

Nice and friendly place to hang out. Reasonable prices and good quality food. Self grinded coffee and self-baked quiche. You can chill out and read a few books. Good place for breakfast or a little break. Thumbs up!

A very nice cafe and bookstore at the same time. Operated by a nice owner and colleagues. Facility is unique. Cake especially good. Prices in order. Incidentally, people can also browse or buy books. Create, that such a shop does not exist in Wuppertal.

Great Place in Lindau!!!

Really good food and drinks for a good cheap price. You feel really at home because of the games and books. Also the staff is amazing. I played a couple of games of chess that they had lying around there with my boyfriend. I loved not using a phone and just spending time together.

Absolutely amazing place. Good coffee, good and homemade food and most impressively: it's a treasure box full of amazing books for you to explore. Absolutely loved it here!! Highly recommended but be smart and bring some spare time

If you like books, Augustin will love you. You enter and you are in another world. The souls were delicious and the coffee was great. The handwritten book recommendations are the blast. Without buying a book you do not go. Very very nice.

A cozy place in the heart of Lindau. Must see. The cafe can be really crowded in the summer but there are a few tables outside and the place offers nice drinks and food. The cafe is also a good option in the winter with their nice selection of food and drinks. You should keep in mind that the cafe is in the center of the island and doesn't have a parking lot.

THE bookshop! I absolutely love the place. The interior is like a huge living room with cosy furniture, beautiful decoration and bookshelves full of books you can read while you are there or buy if you got hooked. Their food is delicious, staff smiling and helpful. All bookshops should be like this. And who says people read less and less? The place is full of booklovers.

A spot of hygge in Bavaria - this truly is one of the best cafes you can find anywhere. Tasty and aromatic vegetarian food that will make everybody happy, very good coffee, tarts and cake, nice options for a relaxed breakfast. All this between interesting books that amazon wouldn't recommend ;) . Fair prices and a relaxed and very friendly staff. Counterculture at its best, come in and be happy.

A very lovely place. Here you can drink hot drinks or taste deliciuos cakes or have yuor dinner sorrounded by books and art. If you are lucky you can find live piano music which it creates a good atmosphere. The cakes are good. The prices are cheap and a part of the staff is kind.

The friendliest staff at a coziest book cafe. Food and drinks all through the day till 11. There is nothing you couldn’t dislike about the place. They have nice Seele and soups and quiche. A good selection of tea and vegan stuff. Also try their lemon curd.
